Young Children at Court Farm

Pre-school

As parents ourselves we now understand the joys and stresses of babies and toddlers which has brought our focus on needs of both the toddler and parent. We have traditionally been a family business and are now fine tuning to cater for pre schoolers.

Upon request, every cottage and farmhouse can be made toddler friendly. A built in stairgate is a standard fitting and mobile stairgates and fireguards can be provided as can quality cots, bed guards, highchairs and booster seats. 

Also proving popular is our 3 wheeler pushchairs and baby backpacks hire - leaving you extra space in your car. For added peace of mind we can also provide baby monitors and also offer a trustworthy and experienced local baby sitting servive to allow you time out to pop across the road to the Bullers Arms, or enjoy a meal in one of Bude's many restaurants, only 10 mins drive away.

To entertain your toddler we have a selection of swings and slides and are constantly adding to our collection of outside toys, such as trikes, sit n’ rides found in the enclosed play area.

Toy Boxes can also be provided in your cottage with a small selection of puzzles, toys and books.

We also have 3 acres of meadow just below the play area currently home to our 3 Alpacas, "Nuzzle, Scratch & Sniff" and our 3 Kune Kune piglets, "George, Peppa and Wilbur" (not forgetting "Bubbles" the daddy pig.  We also have some chickens so guests can start the day with egg collecting.   Feeding times take place each morning or just view them from the gate or wander amongst them yourselves.

The play houses are full of toys. Rest assured whatever age your children are, there is endless fun to be had at Court Farm. Our grounds provide a safe environment to fun around enjoying all our facilities, even though we are situated in the heart of the peaceful village. You might like to consider Court Farm Houses or the Period Cottages, as all these properties have their own enclosed gardens with latched gates.

Older children

If you are planning a holiday with older children the BARNS or COURT FARM HOUSES all provide direct safe access to all the facilities.

Stables Barn in particular might be suitable as Mum and Dad can have peace and quiet with the master bedroom (with flatscreen TV) and bathroom on the the ground floor, living and kitchen area on the first floor and the twin room on the 2nd floor, leaving teenagers to gossip without being overheard! Millhouse Barn is similar and bigger with the master bedroom (again with flatscreen TV) on the first floor and the twin and single bedrooms on the next floor.

The tennis court is always popular and we provide rackets and spare tennis ball, however the serious tennis players may wish to bring your own equipment. 

Our indoor games room has a table tennis table and full size pool table. All equipment is free to use, we also keep all the brochures on whats on in the surrounding area in here.

For rainy days or evenings we also have a selection of family and children's DVDs to borrow during your stay.
