At Court Farm Holidays we are incredibly lucky to be surrounded by some of the most fruitful farmlands in the country, and with that comes some of the freshest and tastiest produce going. From delicious dairy to versatile veg and the absolute best of British seafood, North Cornwall really does shine when it comes to local and delicious. Eating and shopping locally for your food whilst on holiday is not only more delicious and healthy, but also reduces food miles significantly and has a potential reduction in your holiday’s carbon footprint by up to 7%, meaning it’s not only great for your tastebuds and body, but for the planet too!

The Beach House Shop, Widemouth Bay
Here in Cornwall we are so proud of our seafood and are beyond lucky to have this brilliant supplier locally. The Beach House Shop has deliveries coming in five times a week from Brixham Harbour and with requests being taken for anything you could need from the sea, you can always be assured of the freshest seafood around.
Located just a short drive from the main Court Farm Holidays site, we highly recommend making a stop here during your stay with us!
Land Meets Sea, Widemouth Bay
With glorious pasture land based just off the coastal road at Widemouth Bay, Land Meets Sea provides some of the tastiest meat in North Cornwall. With 100% outdoor reared Cornish animals and use of local butchers you can be assured of the best quality products alongside the most minimal of food miles. These top meat merchants produce locally sourced breakfast boxes, bbq selections and joints of delicious home reared meat, which are all available for delivery to any of our properties. You can also pick up their produce alongside your fish order at The Beach House Shop.
Lansdown Dairy, Bude
With over 55 years of experience this town centre shop has a great range of pantry essentials, an amazing selection of Cornish ice creams, refillable local milk in glass bottles and a wide variety of freshly baked goods and other essential local produce.. This shop also stocks a good selection of locally produced ciders, beers and gins which the warm friendly and staff are always happy to help you navigate. Open from early until 10pm this ‘one stop shop’ is great for almost all your self catering needs.
Boscastle Farm Shop & Cafe
Located on the outskirts of the pretty fishing port of Boscastle and less than a stone’s throw from the coast path, this farm shop and cafe offers some of the best views in the area. The Boscastle Farm Shop has a great range of homemade pies, pasties, soups, cakes and puddings which are a delicious option for a perfect picnic or an instant gourmet dinner. They also serve a great selection of award winning home reared meats, not to mention their famous burgers and sausages, making it a great place to pick up some provisions for grilling on the barbecues provided at all of our Court Farm Holiday properties. The farm shop also offers a selection of dairy products, local fruit and vegetables and free local delivery on orders over £20, with all this it’s easy to see why it makes it onto our list.
Strawberry Fields Farm Shop, Lifton
Sitting just over the border in Devon, this award winning farm shop provides an excellent range of local produce, beautiful baked treats and store cupboard essentials including their very own delicious honey produced on the premises. The shop also boasts its own butchery, providing an excellent selection of home reared meat, an artisan bakery, which is run on 100% renewable energy, and a fully loaded deli counter, full of tasty local treats. Strawberry fields also offer a delivery service locally so you can get their amazing selection straight to the door at Court Farm Holidays. And if you’re yearning for the taste of the South West when you return home they have recently launched a nationwide delivery service too.

Located in Kilkhampton, just outside of Bude, this small but perfectly formed cafe and farm shop provides some of the best eggs in the area, local fruit and veggies, bread, take away pasties and lots more to boot. Visit website>
Bangors Organic
A great option for sustainability this, wind powered electric van delivered, delivery service offers a range of fruit and vegetable boxes as well as milk, eggs and bread that can be added to the orders. The produce is all certified organic with The Soil Association and delivery is free on orders over £10. Visit website>
