Throughout October – Strawberry Fields, Lifton: Pumpkin Fest.

Perfect for a fun-filled family day out, this October event features our spectacular pumpkin patch bursting with thousands of homegrown pumpkins ready for picking. Hop on the barrel train, snap pics with our spectacular pumpkin displays, and tuck into delicious autumn treats. Don’t forget to catch the magic show, circus show and live music!

10th October – Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Austell: Fungi Foray After Dark.

When the sun goes down Heligan comes alive and a completely different way! Join the team and explore the gardens and woodland with a UV light in the search for Fungi and tiny nighttime creatures.

17th – 31st October – Bodmin Jail, Bodmin: Follow the Trick or Treat Trail

Through Bodmin Jail this Halloween, solving riddles, completing challenges and uncovering Cornwall’s darker history.

1st September – 23rd October – Big Sheep, Bideford: Term time fun on the farm.

From feeding animals to live shows big sheep has plenty of entertainment for all ages.

Dig out your best Halloween costumes and bring your little monsters along for the Halloween Toddler Takeover!

17th October – 21st February – Eden Project, Bodelva: Ice Skating.

18th October – Eden Project, Bodelva: Eden Marathon and Half Marathon.

Cornwall’s biggest running event, the Eden Marathon and Half Marathon, is back with a multi-terrain route through spectacular countryside.

24th October – 1st November – Eden Project, Bodelva: Half Term, Halloweden.

This half-term, uncover the weird and wonderful magic of nature in a spellbinding autumn adventure at the Eden Project. From curious little foragers to budding nature lovers, Halloweden is packed with adventures for all ages.

24th October – 1st November – Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Austell: Halloween at Heligan.

Step into the darker side of history this October with medieval myths, haunting cinema and frightening falconry.

26th October – Tintagel: A dark Gathering.

The annual Dark Gathering is a colourful event which will take place this year on Saturday 26 October; it serves as the perfect precursor to Halloween. The event celebrates the dark, toasts the occult and pays tribute to folklore in all its various shapes and sizes.

30th October – Bodmin Jail, Bodmin: Banged up in Bodmin,

Bodmin Jail’s annual Halloween party returns for its second year, and this time, we’re going bigger.

31st October – Bodmin Jail, Bodmin: After Dark Halloween Special,

A special ghost hunting event. Pre booking only.

Every Saturday till 14th November – Eden Project, Bodelva: Yoga at the Eden Project.

Reset and recharge with an early morning yoga session at the Eden Project. Nestled in nature within the Mediterranean Biome.

15th November – Clovelly: Herring Festival. 

Clovelly Herring Festival always falls in November, so it’s the time of year when the historic village celebrates the coming of the great “Silver Darlings”, better known as Herring.

18th – 19th November – Eden Project, Bodelva: Cornwall Christmas Fair.

Cornwall’s biggest, most vibrant Christmas fair returns to Eden in 2026, raising funds for Cornwall Community Foundation.

21st – 22nd November – Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge: Cornish Winter Fair. 

Over 100 artisan trade stands, brought together with the Wadebridge Prime Stock Show.

20th – 22nd November – RHS Rosemoor, Torrington: Magic of Christmas Craft and Food Fair. 

Over 100 artisan trade stands, brought together with the Wadebridge Prime Stock Show. Christmas shopping for exquisite gifts and delicacies from the best local artist and produce in the south. 

27th – November – 30th December – RHS Rosemoor, Torrington: RHS Glow at Rosemoor. 

As the sun goes down at RHS Garden, the gardens come to life with light and sound. A night to remember. 

December

6th December – Clovelly: RNLI Christmas Light Switch On. 

Celebrate the festive season with the enchanting tradition of our RNLI’s Christmas Lights switch on. The village comes alive with holiday spirit as a local brass band leads a joyful procession down to the harbour, accompanied by the singing of festive carols

11th – 13th December – Royal Cornwall Showground, Wadebridge: Cornwall Christmas Market. 

Revel in the charm of a traditional Christmas market that promises you the merriest time.

26th December – Clovelly: Boxing Day Barbecue. 

Boxing Day Barbecue should make the perfect follow-up to Christmas day for all your family and friends. With FREE entrance to Clovelly village all day, take a walk along the estate or explore the village in the morning.

31st December – Clovelly: New Year’s Eve Party. 

The Red Lion are hosting a New Year’s Eve Party to kick-start 2027 with a bang. Expect fireworks, music, fancy dress and a murder mystery – this year the theme is Wild West!
