Every weekend throughout January – The Lost Garden of Heligan: Submergence. Set within our historic reserve yard, Submergence blurs the boundaries between the virtual and the physical. This immersive installation from Squidsoup transforms thousands of suspended lights into a living environment, where each tiny sphere – or voxel – creates movement and emotion through shifting patterns of light. Formed from 256 strands, each with 21 LEDs, Submergence comprises 5,376 individually addressable points of light, creating a luminous, three-dimensional canvas. Across a 12-minute sequence, the work moves through distinct phases of curiosity, tension and release.

January and Febuary – Eden Project:  Ice Skating. Lace up your skates! Cornwall’s most well-loved ice rink is now open at the Eden Project until 22 February 2026. 

January 17th – Eden Project: Candlelight Concerts at the Eden Project. Experience the magic of an immersive, multi-sensory evening of live music under the glow of candlelight! Performed by a string quartet, these concerts take place in The Core an extraordinary nature-inspired architectural space, nestled next to Eden’s Biomes. 

February

Every weekend throughout February and March – The Lost Garden of Heligan: Neon Jungle Roller Skating Ring:  Lace up your skates and roll into the New Year as we open our gates to the groovy glow of the Neon Jungle roller rink. Our retrofuturist roller skate rink will showcase a neon-tinged vision of our iconic Jungle area. The undercover rink, known as Neon Jungle, will be open every weekend until March 29, with midweek opening during February half-term. It will also be available for educational visits and as part of event-hire packages The design of the rink has been inspired by the restoration of The Lost Gardens and will evoke feelings of lostness and rediscovery. Skaters will be accompanied by an expertly-curated playlist of retro hits and future classics.

February Half Term – Lifton Farm shop. Strewberry Fields, Lifton: Big Machine Week. Calling all tractor and farm machinery fans, young and old! If you love the rumble of engines and the charm of the countryside, Big Machine Week is the event for you. Come and enjoy a full week of fun, adventure and lots of tractors at Strawberry Fields Lifton!

February Half Term – Eden Project: The Scarecrow’s Wedding. This special event brings the magic of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler’s picture book to life through play, creativity and exploration.
