The breathtaking Southwest Coastal Path is easily accessible from all of our Court Farm Holidays properties, and there are countless footpaths and bridleways to explore from your doorstep. With scenery ranging from the regions beautiful coastline to ancient forests and rolling hills of Cornwall, there is so much to explore!

Enjoy a walk beside the North Tamar while you explore the history of Bude Canal, originally opened in the 1820’s. This pleasant walk features cliff paths, inland fields and the quiet and peaceful Bude canal.

Also of historical interest is Stratton Battlefield. Taking approximately two hours, this fascinating walking route explores the site of an Iron Age Fort. It was the setting for the Civil War battle of Stamford Hill which took place in 1643 between the Royalist Army and Parliamentarian Troops. The Battle of Stratton is re-enacted by members of the Sealed Knot Society each year.

From here you can create a walk from any point on an ordnance survey map, generating key information such as distance and elevation, then print out or export the route for use with a GPS device.
